PULZEE helps solo web and design freelancers check how an extra client request changes a fixed-fee project. The scope calculator uses your own figures and does not require an account or an AI request.
1. Enter five figures
Start with the agreed total fee, direct project costs, originally expected total hours, extra hours requested and your own target earnings per hour. Include meetings and revisions in the hours. Avoid client names and confidential details.
2. Review the effect before agreeing
The calculator compares the hourly amount before and after the extra work and a revised total fee for your entered target. These are scenarios after entered direct costs, before tax, VAT and other overheads. They are not an invoice, a market-price recommendation or a client approval. If the original project was already below your hourly target, the calculated increase also includes that original shortfall. It is not solely a price for the added work.
Example: €800 fee, €50 direct costs, 20 original hours and 8 extra hours gives €37.50/hour before and €26.79/hour afterwards. A €30/hour overall target requires €890 total. Direct costs stay unchanged in this example. The €90 increase is the minimum adjustment to keep that average across the whole project. It is not a separate price for eight extra hours: choose and review any additional fee yourself.
3. Save and return in the same browser
Save a supported SHIFT tool explicitly, then reopen it and change the assumptions. Up to 12 projects share this browser storage. Projects do not sync to an account or another device. Other people using the same browser profile may access them after logout. Clearing browser data can remove them.
Exported JSON contains your project values: keep it private. Review a project file before importing it. Share the empty tool when you want someone else to make their own calculation; do not publish your private project export.
General AI and Pro status
General AI availability depends on verified included capacity and the service status shown on the homepage. AI answers do not browse the live web and cannot verify current flight prices or prove which fare is cheapest. Local calculators remain independent of AI availability. New Pro purchases are paused; no purchase is required to use the scope tool.
Short instructions

There is no automatic device sync or sending a draft to a client. If the original project already missed the hourly target, the calculated increase includes that earlier shortfall.
